My Prayer
Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best thought be day or by night
Waking or sleeping Thy presence my light
Riches I heed not nor man’s empty praise
Thou mine inheritance now and always
Thou and thou only first in my heart
High King of heaven my treasure Thou art

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and werejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
*I need grace and humility to remember this. I need to preach the gospel to myself daily. His mercies are NEVER failing.
